Financial Markets: Assistant Manager – Commodities - Settlements

Responsibilities:
- Perform Capital Market operations for G10 Investment Bank supporting North America region
- Include price validation, invoice creation, cash flow agreement (includes wire instructions), post settlements breaks resolution, fails management, contact/SSI update and daily/weekly/monthly metrics publication
- Independently handle the process nuances and escalate challenges / issues in a timely manner
- Regularly interact with clients to provide on-time resolution to feedback / requests
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries with / without appropriate escalations
- Co-ordinate and collaborate with internal and external counterparties for discrepancy resolution
- Ensure continuous updates to process documents, checklists and ensure all learnings have been logged and distributed to the relevant teams
- Identify gaps and improve current processes via automations or ideas and initiatives
- Prepare key operations metrics and reports and provide recommendations for process improvements
- Identify and highlight key areas of cross-training to ensure continuous learning
Required Expertise:
- Strong expertise and experience in commodities market
- Good understanding of annual report structures to extract relevant and strategic information
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to interact with clients directly
- Excellent communication (Verbal and Written) and interpersonal skills
- Strong logical reasoning and analytical skills
Eligibility Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree (Preferred) with 1+ years of experience in team management
- Strong finance, risk or compliance background with quantitative skills preferred
- Proven communications skills
- Flexible with APJ/EMEA/Night/General shifts
