Senior Manager - Site Search

Responsibilities: 

• Interface with the client independently on calls/emails/IM to give status updates on projects and help in issue resolution
• Project management, task allocation, briefing and auditing team members work to maintain highest quality standard
• Analyze website internal search (site search) & external search (SEO) performance and provide suggestions and strategy for improvements
• Business Process Initiatives, Conceptualizing (or identifying), implementing & sharing process improvements
• Measure various KPIs and identify trends
• Create weekly reports, presentations and operation metrics on resource utilization, productivity etc.
• Marketing effectiveness A/B testing, campaign performance, cross channel behavior
• External Communication – weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings with clients
• Project Review
• Weekly Operations Review
• Monthly Business Review
• Quarterly Business Review
• Internal Communication – team meetings, periodic reporting
• Manage attrition, identify future staffing needs and formulate recruitment plans
• Develop and conduct process health checks and knowledge audits
• Develop, implement and maintain performance monitoring systems
• Responsible for training and mentoring team members to develop skillset

Required Expertise:

• Excellent communication / interpersonal skills
• At least 5 years of work experience in
  • Managing operations in online business division of an ecommerce company
  • Executing CMS/eCommerce projects and reporting / Dashboard development
  • Managing Site Search or SEO Campaigns
• Proficient using any one of the listed web analytics tools – Adobe SiteCatalyst,  Coremetrics, WebTrends, Omniture Insight, Google Analytics.
• Expert in Reporting, Analysis & Data Presentation
• Excellent logical reasoning and ability to research on its own
• Experience in using enterprise search platform viz. Google Custom Search, MS FAST, Endeca, IBM Solr Functional knowledge on working with MS Excel
• Team management experience
