Information Designer

 

Job Role:

Candidate with Minimum 5+ years of experience Visualization and infographics.

Information Designer will be working with different project teams to create dashboards, slides, storyboards and videos to convey the information. The role will involve:

• Analyzing and format data to tell a specific story through data visualization and infographics
• Address internal and external data visualization and communication needs in a variety of formats including infographics, charts, diagrams, and maps
• Working with different tools to produce the final output that can be shared with international clients

 

Key skills for visualisation analysts

• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to work with large amounts of information and see the ‘bigger picture’
• Comfortable with juggling facts, figures, and number crunching
• Communication skills, both written and oral
• Critical thinking: able to look at numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings
• Understand consumers of the output to be able to speak in their language
• Attention to detail
• Excellent maths skills

 

Educational Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Information Design or equivalent
• Graduate Degree Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or Economics
• Specialization/Certification in Data Visualization will be added advantage
