The ideal experience map: 5 - 7 years of experience in Project & Operations Management

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Project Management
    • Coordinate/Manage internal team and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
    • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
    • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
    • Ensure resource availability and allocation
    • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
    • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
    • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
    • Report and escalate to management as needed
    • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
    • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
    • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Operations Management
    • Provide inspired leadership for the organization.
    • Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures.
    • Assist HR with recruiting when necessary.
    • Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
    • Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
    • Work with senior stakeholders.
    • Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filled and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
    • Work with Senior Management to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals.
    • Identify and address problems and opportunities within cross functional processes
    • Build alliances and partnerships with existing and new clients
    • Prepare & present client facing weekly/ monthly/ quarterly business summary reports

Technical and Functional Skills:

  • Any Graduate with proven work experience as a project manager in a technology firm preferable with international client
  • Preference will be given to candidates who has prior experience managing email marketing/campaign Ops services in the past
  • Hands on experience with project management software e.g. JIRA
  • Strong experience in handling international technology projects
  • Strong experience in Agile methodology including defining and executing sprints
  • Familiarity with Content Management systems (Drupal/Sitecore/WordPress/AEM)
  • Have strong CMS publishing background to understand the process/issues and solutions
  • Excellent organization, time management and operations skills
  • Strong communication and team management skills
  • Strong experience with client facing communications

  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective relation building capacity with client
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including being comfortable influencing others and working across regions.
  • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize different tasks
  • Ability to use strong analytical and artistic approach to solve complex creative issues
